Theodor-Heuss-Platz, then and now

This map shows the address of the Beutler medical practice, which helps locate it on older images of the area. Note that the Platz's current name dates to 1963; its original name was Reichskanzlerplatz, changed to Adolf-Hitler-Platz in 1933 (Wikipedia articles in English and German). I was able to find the pictures below through a quick online search, which show that the prewar buildings were not demolished until well after the war, though they appear to have been rather thoroughly gutted.

View to the north, from the southeast corner of the square, 1926.

View to the northeast from across the square, 1930.
View to the northeast from across the square, 1949.

P.S. I remember seeing stationery from the medical office in a desk in Kensington with the Adolf-Hitler-Platz address printed at the top. That left an impression.
